The actors, led by Gigi chameleon Parise, staged the story of a family living in turmoil by the return of her son Alfredo London after 3 years of medical studies.
In the first act we see a lot of fun moments with duets between the two parents, Donna and Don Fortunato Concepcion, cloth merchant, and several neighbors who go to visit them at home, eager to know of the event. Parents are desperate, and especially the father is distressed by the unbearable and possible entries of the country, which led him, in the presence of Cenzino trust, to seek the help of Mr Mustacchio professor, politician, and with drastic superficiality recommended Fortunato to drive home his son.
While the awareness of Fortunato staggers, looking for the courage to run the authoritative advice of the professor, appears in the Piazza Padre Diodato, an Brother quite tipsy, calling the merchant to meditate on his decision.
A reviving the soul and restore balance in the inner Fortunato is an unreal figure, Pulcinella, which separates from the body of the merchant, exposing his labor.
